Performance
The PLUS means these machines are equipped with a Deutz 3.6L engine pumping out 102 HP with DOC + SCR (AdBlue) systems. These machines can reach 25 MPH. The vertical radiators are equipped with a mechanically controlled fan. Air filter design maximizes filtering efficiency.
Standard features include load sensing hydraulic pump and systems, hydrostatic transmission, Eco Power Drive (EPD), impressive ground clearance, and crab crawl 4-wheel drive for expansive maneuverability.
The EPD (operated with the joystick) allows the RPM to be varied independent of the speed of the machine.
Comfort
The enclosed premium cab (still the widest in its class) is equipped with a split door and a 360-degree view. The ergonomic dashboard is designed for easy access to the controls. The machine shuttle is conveniently located in two places: the joystick and the steering column. The pneumatic seat, coupled with the operator-controlled suspension system supplies a more comfortable ride in all situations. AC and heat flow through an 8 vent system for consistent comfort inside the cab. Plus, the side placement of the cabin air filters ensures constant fresh airflow.
Extra Stability
Mounted on the front axle, the stabilizers are independently controlled, giving the operator control for precision placement to match the terrain and load needs. Expect high ground clearance when fully engaged. Designed to add stability without adding width to the physical machine, the front stabilizers, when retracted or deployed, stay within the machine’s footprint; operator view is not hindered when the machine is mobile or stationary. The foot pads’ special design guarantees greater stability, even on sloping terrain, at all times.
Versatility
More than just forks, the Merlo no-flex boom design ensures trouble-free ground engagement as well. For operating versatility, Merlo designed their machines for full compatibility with a wide range of attachments such as buckets, jibs, winches, clamps, and hooks. Add on a skid steer adapter to expand the range of attachments even more. Plus, these machines can be pre-arranged for aerial platforms, expanding their versatility range even more.
