Merlo P40.13PLUS Telehandler. Increased Productivity. Simplified.
The P40.13PLUS Merlo telehandler, with independent front stabilizers, brings performance, operator efficiency, versatility, and maximum stability to every job.
Specs
The P40.13PLUS supplies a maximum load capacity of 8,800 lbs. Maximum lift height of 42’6” deftly manages up to 8,000 lbs. Full reach (28’6”) load capacity: 2,200 lbs.
The Deutz 3.6L engine pumps out 115 HP. Maximum travel speed is 25 mph.
Merlo’s no-flex boom design ensures the P40.13PLUS is compatibility with a wide range of attachments including ground engaging implements such as buckets and sweepers. Plus, pre-arranged for aerial platforms is available, expanding its versatility range. Booms are equipped with one boom socket and two auxiliary hydraulic lines.
Standard Features
Standard features include load sensing hydraulic pump and systems; hydrostatic transmission; Eco Power Drive (EPD) saving up to 18% in fuel costs; impressive 18” ground clearance, and three mode 4-wheel drive for expansive maneuverability.
Other standard features: boom side shift, for accurate load placement without having to move the machine; frame leveling for optimum stability on uneven terrain, road lights, and front and rear cab lights for optimal view in low light conditions.
Safety
A 3-inch ring of solid steel surrounds the chassis of the machine. This feature protects the sides of the machine from impacts, protects the operator, and balances the machine, removing the need for counterweights.
Merlo’s patented safety system — Adaptive Stability Control System (ASCS) —recognizes attachments, loads, and the telehandler’s response. It then displays all in real time on the highly visible LCD.
The Cab
Still the largest in its class at 3’3”, the enclosed cab offers a split door, and over 46 sq. ft. of glass surface for visibility, with wipers on the front, rear, and roof. The cab roof is covered (FOPS II) with a metal grid protecting the machine and operator from falling objects. Plus, the open grid design ensures an operator has full visuals on overhead loads. AC/Heat ensures the operator can work in all conditions.
Merlo designs its cabs for operator comfort and efficiency. The dashboard layout makes for easy access to all the machines’ switches, controls, and operational visuals. Ergonomic seating with seat adjustments makes this Merlo an operator’s dream machine.
The intuitive, capacitive joystick offers fingertip control of boom, carriage, and attachment functions, forward and reverse shuttle (also available on the steering column), and hydraulic flow control.
Stability
Retracted or deployed, the front axle mounted stabilizers stay within the machine’s footprint ensuring an operator’s view is not hindered when the machine is mobile or stationary. Operators have full control of each independent stabilizer for precision placement to match terrain and load needs. The stabilizer foot pads’ distinctive design always guarantees greater stability, even on soft or steep terrain.
More than ‘just a telehandler’ Merlo’s P40.13PLUS deliver stand out performance, efficiency, and versatility.
